Richard Zinon at Omaire Gallery

This fall, Omaire Gallery enters its next chapter.
We are honored to announce our second exhibition, The Chapel Paintings, by British abstract painter Richard Zinon. His presence signals something profound. He is not only the next artist to grace our walls, he is the first to be welcomed as part of the Kaiya Foundation’s Artist in Residence program. His time here will be lived, not just displayed.
Zinon paints without preparation, without sketches, without defense. His work is an act of listening. A raw unfolding of moment into form. Born in the solitude of a chapel-studio perched above the cliffs of Brittany, his paintings arrive bearing the quiet and the wild in equal measure. They do not seek to be explained. They simply are.
Each piece becomes a kind of window. Or a threshold. Or a silence into which we are invited to step. The canvas does not instruct. It holds space. It gives breath. It leaves room for the spirit to move.
With Zinon, the gallery becomes again a place of transformation. Not just an exhibition space, but a living part of the artist’s journey. While here, he will create, reflect, and share from within the Kaiya landscape. His work will be born of this place, of this stillness, of this season.
The invitation is before us all. To see. To feel. To be present in the presence of something becoming.
We welcome you to The Chapel Paintings.
We welcome you to a deeper unfolding of Omaire.
We welcome you to the beginning of something rare.
